Business context

So much of life in Kenya now happens on online portals — KRA returns, SHA registration, eCitizen applications, job applications. For many people that means confusing forms, failed uploads and long trips to a cyber café.

Dismus started Cyber Kenya to give people one dependable place to get that digital work done. Over time it grew to help small businesses too, with registration, logos, websites and the tools they use every day. Most customers are served remotely through WhatsApp.

What the website needed to do

  • Let visitors find the right service quickly, even on a small phone screen.
  • Show prices and requirements up front so customers know what to expect before they get in touch.
  • Move people into a WhatsApp conversation with a ready-made message, because that is where the work actually happens.
  • Make it clear that Cyber Kenya is an independent provider, not a government office.

Design approach

  1. 01A dark, high-contrast visual style with a gold accent that stands apart from the usual cyber café look.
  2. 02Services grouped into a small set of familiar categories (SHA, Government, Business, Documents, Design, Web & Digital, AI & Training).
  3. 03Every service card ends in one clear action — usually a WhatsApp link with the service already named in the message.
  4. 04Useful free tools and guides that help people even when they do not buy anything.
